In 2019, Park Road Custom Furniture & Decor had the privilege of collaborating with Upstaging on the prestigious Byron Dream Home, part of the Dream Lottery series. This home was a showcase of contemporary design, blending sleek modern elements with the inviting warmth of custom-made furniture. Our partnership with Upstaging was integral to achieving a cohesive and luxurious interior that resonated with potential homeowners.

From the outset, our goal was to enhance the home’s modern architecture with furniture that offered both aesthetic appeal and everyday comfort. We worked closely with Upstaging to select pieces that would complement the home’s open-concept layout, high ceilings, and large windows, ensuring that each room felt spacious yet cozy. Our focus was on creating a seamless flow between the different living spaces, using furniture that added character and functionality without overwhelming the design.

The living areas featured elegant leather sofas and chairs, paired with industrial-style accents like metal-framed coffee tables and reclaimed wood surfaces, which perfectly captured the industrial-luxe vibe we aimed to create. In the bedrooms, we opted for upholstered beds and custom dressers that offered a soft, inviting contrast to the sleek lines of the home’s architecture.

This collaboration was a testament to our shared commitment to quality and design excellence. The Byron Dream Home not only highlighted the craftsmanship of our Canadian-made furniture but also demonstrated our ability to work with partners like Upstaging to create spaces that are as livable as they are beautiful. This project was a defining moment for us, reinforcing our reputation as leaders in custom furniture design and staging in the London, Ontario area.

We were thrilled to collaborate with Cara Operations, now Recipe Unlimited, on the furnishing of the Taverne Moderne 1909 Restaurants at both the Bell Centre in Montreal and Place Bell in Laval. When their architects reached out to us, they had a clear vision for an industrial aesthetic that would complement the vibrant atmosphere of these iconic locations. Understanding their needs, we provided a selection of tables that perfectly matched the desired look, ensuring both functionality and style for the restaurants and their patios.

The large bar tables, made from rough cut wormy maple, were custom-built to perfectly fit the space, highlighting the craftsmanship of our Ontario builders. Our collaboration with the Architectural and Interior Design firms involved ensured that the finishes and furnishings aligned with the restaurant’s vision, setting it apart from others in the Cara group.

Working closely with their team, we coordinated the delivery and setup within a tight timeframe, understanding the importance of meeting their opening schedule. Our commitment to quality and precision allowed us to execute the project efficiently, ensuring that everything was in place and ready for their grand opening. The successful collaboration not only enhanced the restaurant’s aesthetic but also demonstrated our ability to deliver on large-scale projects with strict deadlines.
